Course Description
Defensive Shotgun: This course is for shooters who wants to use shotguns as their primary home defense firearm. It is also designed to prepare individuals to take more advanced shotgun courses such as the Tactical Shotgun. Topics include home defense, basic maneuvers, types of ammunition, close quarter combat with shotguns. This is a 3 hour, shooting class. Bring your shotgun and ammuntion (buckshots only). Other types of shells should be brought for informational and testing purposes.

- Gun Cleaning / Classroom
Part IV:
- Defensive Mindset / Situational Awareness
- Use of Force
- Review and Evaluation
Fee: $120
Items to bring:
- Eye and ear protection (if you don't have one, they will be provided)
- Your firearm (rental available on first come first serve basis)
- At least 25 rounds of 00 Buck shots for your firearm (may be purchased at the range)
- A good mental attitude
- Old T-shirt (will be destroyed)
Wear comfortable clothing:
- Low cut shirts are not advisable
- Wear shoes instead of sandals
- Wear long pants instead of shorts
