Shoot Safe Learning - Pistol / Rifle Combo Training

Pistol /Rifle Combo This course combines the use of both handgun and Rifle. Develop your skill and optimize the capability of each weapon system. Understand the effectiveness of each platform in various conditions.

Pre-requisites: Any of the following courses:

Shoot Safe Skill Builder I, II
Shoot Safe CCW courses
Essential Pistol / NRA Defensive Pistol
Any intermediate - advanced pistol training deemed comparable

and

Shoot Safe Rifle
Any rifle training deemed comparable

Defensive marksmanship

Part II:

Rifle operation
Presentation
Rifle deployment

Part III:

Weapon transition
Malfunction recovery
Practical Shooting Exercise

Wear comfortable clothing:

Wear long pants instead of shorts
Wear pants with belt loops
Bring strong/sturdy belt (1.5 inch width or wider; must fit through the belt loops)
Wear closed toe shoes

Items to Bring:

Pistol (semi-automatic pistol), 2 or more magazines
Rifle (AR, AK, other suitable carbine)
Properly installed rifle sling
Eye and ear protection, a hat
300 rounds of pistol ammunition (available at the range)
150 rounds rifle ammunition (available at the range)
Holster, belt and magazine pouches (gear suggestion)
Dummy ammunition for your pistol and shotgun (rental may be available)
Knee pads
Sunblock
Bottled water
Packed lunch
