Practical Drills

Proper Training

  • Get proper training!

Shooting Fundamentals:

  • Stance
  • Grip
  • Sight Alignment, Sight Picture
  • Breathing
  • Trigger Pull
  • Follow Through

Draw: 4 count draw

  • Weak hand to the mid section, shooting hand gripping the gun
  • Shooting hand pulls straight up and smoothly pointing the muzzle to the target
  • Hands come together in the middle, muzzle pointed at the target
  • Gun comes up to eye level acquiring sight alignment and sight picture

Dry Shooting

  • Dry shooting is a good excercise to develop your skills. Before doing so, make sure that the gun is pointed at a safe direction, and no live ammunition should be near the area where dry fire is being done.

Range Shooting

  • Take the time to go to the range to practice. Remember, prefect practice makes perfect.
