Course Description

Defensive Tactical Shotgun Course This course is the next level on the learning progression after the basic Defensive Shotgun Course. Instructions include review of basic fundamentals, elements of effective shooting position, defensive tactics, cover and concealment, home defense, basic maneuvers and many more. Safety is emphasized in all our classes.

Pre-requisites: Any of the following:

Defensive Shotgun I
Any shotgun training deemed comparable
Instructor's approval

Evaluation

Wear comfortable clothing:

Wear long pants instead of shorts
Wear pants with belt loops
Wear closed toe shoes
Avoid low cut and sleeveless shirts

Items to Bring:

Shotgun with sling (pump action or semi-automatic)
Eye and ear protection
A hat
200 rounds of birdshots (ammnition may be available at the range)
10 rounds of 00 buckshots
10 rounds of slugs
Dummy ammunition (rental may be available)
Shotgun shell carrier/pouch or wear cargo pants
Old T-Shirt
Knee pads
Sunblock
Bottled water
Packed lunch
