CCW Skills
Concealed Carry Skills. This course takes you from your initial CCW training to honing and developing your essential skills in concealed carry technique. Use your daily carry holster. This course focuses on some key points including concealment, weapon deployment, threat identification, target acquisition, tactics, movement, angles and distancing.
Prerequisite:
- Law-abiding adult citizen
- Proof of Shooting Experience (one or more)
- Completed Essential Pistol Course
- Completed Defensive Handgun Course
- Completed CCW Combatives Course
- California CCW Holder
- Law Enforcement Officer (active/retired)
- or Instructor's Permission

Wear comfortable clothing:
- Wear long pants instead of shorts
- Wear pants with belt loops
- Bring strong/sturdy belt (1.5 inch width or wider; must fit through the belt loops)
- Wear closed toe shoes
- A hat
- Cooling towel (during summer)
Items to Bring:
- Firearm, 2 or more magazines
- Eye and ear protection, a hat
- 400 rounds of ammunition for your pistol
(Not available at the range)
- Carry holster, belt and magazine pouches (gear suggestion)
- Knee pads
- Sunblock
- Bottled water
- Packed lunch
Note:
- No ankle holster
- No shoulder holster
- Holster MUST cover the trigger
- Fanny pack / Sling bag / other mode of carry must be approved by instructor
