Course Description

Pistol /Shotgun Combo This course combines the use of both handgun and shotgun. Develop your skill and optimize the capability of each weapon system. Understand the effectiveness of each platform in various conditions.

Pre-requisites: Any of the following courses:

Shoot Safe Skill Builder I, II
Shoot Safe CCW courses
Essential Pistol / NRA Defensive Pistol
West Coast Tactical Pistol I, II
Any intermediate - advanced pistol training deemed comparable

and

Shoot Safe Defensive Shotgun
West Coast Tactical Shotgun I, II
Any shotgun training deemed comparable

Wear comfortable clothing:

Wear long pants instead of shorts
Wear pants with belt loops
Bring strong/sturdy belt (1.5 inch width or wider; must fit through the belt loops)
Wear closed toe shoes

Items to Bring:

Pistol (semi-automatic pistol), 2 or more magazines
Shotgun (with sling)
Eye and ear protection, a hat
300 rounds of pistol ammunition (available at the range)
150 rounds of birdshot or buckshots, 10 rounds of slugs
Holster, belt and magazine pouches (gear suggestion)
Shotgun shell carrier/pouch or wear cargo pants
Dummy ammunition for your pistol and shotgun (rental may be available)
Knee pads
Sunblock
Bottled water
Packed lunch
